Desi was the first foal of our beautiful Bar-G's Rock "E" daughter, Elegant Lady.
In addition to her striking good looks, Desi inherited her mother's "sweet as cream"
temperament and willing nature.

We were so taken with her, she was shown lightly as a foal.  During that season she
won two Grand Championships at regional shows, as well as being selected as the
National Champion Classic Mare Foal at the 2002 Shetland Congress.

Desi was shown as a yearling by trainer Ann Linze, and as a three year old by
trainer Renee Bush, until she completed her halter Hall of Fame points in the Classic
Shetland division.

Although both her sire and dam are taller Shetlands, Desi has remained quite
small, and passed a hardship inspection for entry into the American Miniature
Horse Registry in 2005.  She will be bred in 2006, probably to Comanche . . .
