Lad's Gypsy Dancer

American Shetland Pony

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sire: C.J. Painted Apache
Dam: Dove's Top Motion
This striking frame mare is the only Shetland we breed to larger stallions for NSPPR foals. She is our tallest Shetland pony at 46 inches. Gypsy is pictured here with one of her registered Shetland foals.
Gypsy is in foal to Baker again for 2019.
  This is Baker Reeves, our AQHA stallion, and the sire of most of Gypsy's NSPPR foals.
2017 NSPPR Performance Pony of the Year
Rosie as a foal, and giving rides as a 5 year old at the 2018 Shetland Congress. Rosie currently competes in NSPPR Halter and Walk-Trot. We think she will do best in Trail and/or Ranch Riding classes.
Pictured here with her buddies Hadley Harders (mounted), Alyssa Harders and George Harders.
Rhapsody's Ride the Wild Waves
Sire: Baker Reeves
2018 NSPPR Congress Grand Champion
(Performance Halter)
Gypsy's 2015 foal was the visual frame we had been awaiting for a LONG time. Dark sorrel and white with electric blue eyes, he grabs attention.
His barn name is Surfer, and he competes in NSPPR Halter, Walk-Trot and Driving. Trained to ride & drive by Mike Wahl Performance Horses.
Rhapsody's Blue Sable
Sire: Baker Reeves
Gypsy's 2016 filly, Sable was born jet black. This usually means they will turn gray, but we didn't see any gray hairs on Sable until she was a yearling.
Pictured below left as a two year old, she IS turning gray, but should be dark for quite a long time. Sable is a very sweet filly and likes attention. She is on the schedule for saddle training in 2019.
Rhapsody's Ladybug
Sire: Baker Reeves
This sorrel frame filly is Gypsy's 2018 foal. Not as strikingly marked as Surfer, but she has splashes of white on both sides and startling, electric blue eyes.
We think Ladybug will stay sorrel and will not go gray.
